Our metal is real and applied and finished by hand. Unlike
metal plating, there is no heat involved and no electrical
current involved. This allows for extremely versatile,
virtually endless application possibilities. The metal
can be aged with patina, or polished to a satin or high
shine.
Metals available include copper, bronze, nickel/silver,
iron, aluminum, pewter and brass. Custom alloys and custom
colors are also available to blend or contrast any décor,
indoors or outdoors.
We offer a very unique and brilliant golden brass. This
coating has been popular on tiles and exterior signs.
We can get very creative with patinas for this coating,
achieving a variety of colors, for a uniquely different
look.
Bronze is in high demand on tiles, architectural elements
like ceiling medallions, wood mouldings and polyurethane
mouldings. The economic value and the beauty of all our
metal coatings make bronze a particular favorite for plaster,
foam or wood sculptures.
Copper with black, blue, or a blue green acid wash is a
very fashionable choice and is as authentic as if the
piece had been outside in the weather for years. These
patinas can be applied to your metal to achieve any aged
effect you desire. Polyurethane clear coat in matte, satin
and hi-gloss is also available over our Copper coatings.
Iron is one of our favorite coatings as it can be rusted
so authentically.Iron is the perfect metal to achieve a very old rust
effect. Left unprotected outside our iron metal will
age naturally. Or we can protect the aged appearance
with our clear coat that will maintain the color of
rust, year after year, inside or outdoors.
Nickel/Silver can be used as an alloy with bronze to create a beautiful accent for any decorative design.
Pewter is in a class of its' own. This is a most gorgeous
metal coating. The mirror like hi-shine finish will
never tarnish!
